Jon Karmel, a partner with the firm of Karmel & Gilden in Chicago, concentrates his practice in labor law, ERISA law, employee discrimination, and class action matters. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, attended the Yale University graduate program in political science, and received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where he was a staff member of the John Marshall Law Review. He has been a chapter author in the Labor Law Handbook (IICLE), has served as a seminar instructor for the American Arbitration Association and has been a frequent speaker for the UFCW International Union Attorneys Conference.
